"Living in the house has been one of my favorite college experiences. There is always a friend around to hang out with no matter what you want to do, whether it's getting bubble tea and sushi or just hanging out and watching a movie."
-- Mary Dillon, Spring '10
The Beta Zeta Sigma Kappa chapter house is located on 10 Fraternity Row in College Park, MD. Our chapter house is used to hold meetings and various sorority events. In addition, our house is a wonderful place for sisters to eat, study, lounge, and get ready before meetings. As the center of many sorority activities, there is always something going on and someone to hang out with, so life at the house is never boring!
Currently, 33 members live in the chapter house. There are two single bedrooms (reserved for the President and Executive Vice President), ten doubles, one triple, and two quads. In addition to these rooms, there is the Chapter Room, the Television Room, the Date Room, the Scholarship Room, and the basement. Our House Director lives in an apartment located in the house and is available to address any housing concerns for in-house sisters.
We have our own chef who provides meals for the sisters throughout the week. Meals for in-house sisters consist of lunch and dinner Mondays through Fridays, brunch on Saturdays, and dinner on Sundays. Out-of-house sisters are allowed two lunches and two dinners per week at the house.
During the summer of 2010, our chapter house was interiorly renovated. Our Renovation Committee presented us with brand new furniture as well as new carpeting, light fixtures, paint, and overall house decor!
